University of Leicester (2017-20)
At the University of Leicester, innovation for development featured strongly in the institutional strategy for global challenge research that I developed.
One of the main activities to deliver this was a workshop hosted jointly with the University of Nairobi in March 2017 funded under the Global Challenges Research Fund institutional grant to the University of Leicester.
The “Nairobi Workshop” promoted a discussion about how universities need to change to become more effective in promoting innovation through their combined offer of education and research.
