Low-Income Countries

The income status of countries are updated annually using data collated by the World Bank with an annual estimate of per capita Gross National Income (GNI) using the World Bank’s Atlas method stated as US$ equivalents.

The 2022 assessment lists low-income countries as having a per capita GNI of less than $1,085.
